Woven by nature

MOLLIE is a boutique hotel located on Paepcke Park in downtown Aspen. Drawing inspiration from the many individuals that shaped Aspen throughout its history (including the inimitable Mollie Gibson and others) known for their restless enthusiasm for the outdoors, ability to bring people together, and passion for art, design and freedom of expression, the hotel pays homage to their significant contributions to Aspen’s early social, artistic, and adventurous fabric. The hotel was designed for those with a natural curiosity and appreciation for intimacy and connection.

Through its subtle lens of contemporary Scandinavian and Japanese design, MOLLIE thoughtfully embodies a sense of understated luxury and natural comfort. The hotel’s public spaces have been curated to invite convivial social gatherings, while guest rooms signal a relaxed, residential experience. White oak, terracotta, and sand-casted brass are among the materials incorporated throughout MOLLIE to mimic the area’s rough-hewn mountains while large windows frame views of the surrounding nature and bring an abundance of light into the hotel.

Art and craftsmanship are an integral part of MOLLIE’s design and ethos. A hand dyed tapestry inspired by the works of Anni Albers and Agnes Martin will be prominently displayed in the lobby to welcome guests. Other works of art by renowned artists will be featured in guestrooms and public spaces throughout our luxury hotel in Aspen.

MOLLIE’s exceptional food & beverage program is curated by Gin & Luck, the group behind the critically acclaimed Death & Co, and consists of a lobby bar and restaurant with year-round outdoor seating, a laid-back all-day café, as well as a rooftop spa pool and terrace bar turned intimate lounge by night.
