Aspen Music Festival and School (AMFS) is a classical music festival founded in 1949 in Aspen, Colorado. It is one of the most prestigious music festivals in the world, and offers more than 400 classical music events during the summer season. Many events are free. The Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience is a three-day music festival held in Snowmass Village, Colorado, August 30 – September 1. It is one of the most popular music festivals in the country, and features a diverse lineup of artists, including jazz, blues, rock, pop, and country musicians.

Aspen Filmfest is an annual fall festival that showcases top filmmaking talent from around the world, featuring films that have premiered at the Cannes, Sundance, Telluride, Toronto, and Venice film festivals.

Taking place September 19-24, the festival is known for its diverse programming, which includes a mix of feature films, documentaries, and shorts. The festival is a great way to see new films, meet filmmakers, and learn about the latest trends in independent cinema.

Wintersköl, Aspen’s annual “toast to winter” dates back to January 1951 when locals chose to commemorate Aspen’s distinctive mountain way of life with a diverse weekend of events.

The three-day event, taking place December 13-15, 2024, will showcase on-mountain activities, snow sculptures, a soup contest, and torchlight parade and fireworks on Aspen Mountain.
