Immerse yourself in the timeless craft of weaving at our lobby weaving workshop, inspired by MOLLIE’s rich connection to the Bauhaus movement in Aspen, looking specifically to the legacy of Agnes Martin and Anni Albers. Under the guidance of skilled instructor Michaela Carpenter, you’ll learn the fundamentals of weaving using a pin frame loom, a versatile tool beloved by artisans throughout history. Discover the beauty of different fibers, textures, and colors as you weave your own masterpiece. Take home your weaving after learning finishing techniques to conserve your works. An evening of creative exploration and gathering.
